Would you buy this house? Subsidence worries

Pulled out, much to my wife's disgust.
The vendor came back and said they had no paperwork for the previous building work. And still no indication they would negotiate on price. 'Do you want it or not?', pushy
Also
- vendors only been there 18 months
- we only found out bout the subsidence from our solicitor doing the searches

Sounds like you made the right choice.
Could it be the vendor's did not find out about the subsidence until it was to late and have decided it isn't worth staying. Plenty of reasons for someone to move after 18 months but given the situation with the house you are more likely to think something's up!If my posts have random wrong words, please blame the damn autocorrect not me
