The Prize consists of two airplane tickets for the Winning Participant (hereinafter referred to as the "Winner") and an accompanying person, consisting of round-trip (return) tickets to any LAN or TAM destination in South America.
The tickets are in economy class and are subject to black-out periods, during which time they may not be used, including the dates of June 19 through August 31 and December 1 through December 31. The validity of any prizes awarded is one (1) year as of the date when that prize is given, by which time the trip must be completed.

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST

The prize includes the following concepts and conditions:
Flight for two people to any LAN or TAM destination in South America
1) Organizer
This promotion, which is referred to as "Welcome to South America" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion"), is organized by LATAM Airlines Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), holder of Spanish Tax Identification Number (NIF):N5121001A, with registered address at Capit!n Haya 1, Piso 7, 28020, Madrid, Spain, and shall be governed by the applicable regulations on this subject matter and, in particular, by the rules and conditions established herein (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules").
2) Participants - Territory
Any private individual, who is at least eighteen (18) years old, with residence in Spain, the United Kingdom or Germany, may take part in this Promotion, with no obligation to make any purchase and completely free of charge, if, at the time of participating, the person meets all of the requirements established in these Rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Eligible Person(s)"). Not able to take part in this Promotion are the employees or management staff of the Organizer and/or their related, linked, parent or subsidiary companies, or any company subject to common control with the Organizer, the companies contracted by the Organizer to provide their collaboration or services related with the Promotion, or the related, linked, parent or subsidiary companies of the aforementioned companies, or any company subject to common control therewith, or the family members of the persons mentioned above, up to the second degree of family relations, as this term is defined by Law.
3) Promotion Validity Dates
The "Promotion" herein shall be valid from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on the date of November 15, 2013 and until 11:59 p.m. on the date of January 31, 2014,including both of those times and dates (hereinafter referred to as the "Term of Validity").
4) Manner of Participation
4.1. Throughout the Term of Validity, the Eligible Persons who wish to take part in the Promotion must, totally free of charge:
a) Enter one of the following web portals on the Internet: www.lan.com/vuelosasudamerica; www.lan.com/fluegenachsuedamerika; www.lan.com/flynowtosouthamerica (hereinafter referred to as the "Portal") and click on the banner for the Promotion.
b) Get registered by completing the registration form exclusive to this Promotion, which shall be provided to them on the Portal (hereinafter referred to as the "Registration Form"), being required to fill in all of the following information in the proper fields: given names, surname 1, surname 2, country of nationality, regular city of origin when flying, country of residence and e-mail address. In order to accept the Eligible Persons’ participation in the Promotion, it is essential that the information be entered accurately in its entirety.
c) Get registered by way of any action for direct customer attraction which is carried out by LATAM.
4.2. The Eligible Persons registered in this manner (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant/s") will participate in the drawing stipulated in these Rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Random Drawing").
4.3. Throughout the contest duration, only one (1) registration will be permitted by each Eligible Person.
5) Prize
The Prize consists of two airplane tickets for the Winning Participant (hereinafter referred to as the "Winner") and an accompanying person, consisting of round-trip (return) tickets to any LAN or TAM destination in South America.
The tickets are in economy class and are subject to black-out periods, during which time they may not be used, including the dates of June 19 through August 31 and December 1 through December 31. The validity of any prizes awarded is one (1) year as of the date when that prize is given, by which time the trip must be completed.
The reservation must be made at least 75 days prior to the flight’s departure and is subject to availability.
The right to the Prize may not be assigned by any title. If the Winner waives his or her right to the prize, or for any other reason does not exercise the right to the Prize, this shall not confer any right to a exchange, reimbursement or compensation of any type.
The Prize does not include hotels, transfers, expense accounts or any other costs.
All of the arrangements, taxes and exercises related with the Prize of this Promotional Draw or any additional costs are to be paid by the Winner, with the exception of those which are expressly established within these Rules as being paid by the Organizers. Likewise, to be paid by the prize winner are all of the expenses caused by upgrades and extras which do not correspond to the Prize described in these Rules.
The organizers shall not be responsible for any events of force majeure which keep the Winner from being able to make use of the trip. In the same sense, if, due to events beyond the control of the organizers, it is not possible to make use of any of the portions of travel obtained in this promotion, the Organizers shall not provide any ticket other than those already delivered.
6) Promotional draw selection
6.1. The draw will take place on within days (15) days following the end of the period of participation, starting January 31, 2014.
6.2. The Promotional Draw shall be performed by choosing one entry at random from amongst all of the Participants in the Promotion
6.3. The -Promotional Draw shall be performed by Mr. Ricardo Ferrer, a Notary Public of the Illustrious Notaries’ Association of Madrid.
7) Awarding of the Prize
7.1. The notification to the potential winner on his status will be made ​​from the date of the draw by the Organizer sending an e-mail message to the e-mail address that was given by the participant in the Registration Form. The potential Winner notified in this manner shall have five (5) working days, to be calculated as of the day on which the notice was sent, to accept or reject the Prize. A lack of express acceptance of the Prize within the time period described above shall be regarded as a rejection of the Prize, and no evidence to the contrary shall be accepted.
7.2. The Prize shall be considered expressly accepted only if, within the time period indicated above, the Potential Winner responds by e-mail to the e-mail for notification, stating acceptance of the Prize. Thereafter, the Winner must give his/her personal identification information (national ID card, foreign resident ID card or passport number) and those of the accompanying traveler, in order to carry out the proper arrangements and deliver the Prize.
7.3. In the event that the Potential Winner (i) cannot be contacted due to errors or omissions in the Information, (ii) does not accept the Prize in accordance with the provisions of these Rules, (iii) waives the right to the Prize, or (iv) is disqualified due to not meeting the requirements established in these Rules for gaining access to the Prize, the Organizer shall repeat the procedure described in Items 7.1. and 7.2. above in order to choose a first Substitute Winner amongst the Participants –to whom all of the above shall be applicable- and so on successively in terms of all of the remaining Participants, up to a maximum of two Substitute Winners, so that one of them may be selected as the Winner of the Promotion due to complying with the provisions in these Rules established for gaining access to the status as such. In the event that none of the three selected prize Winners accepts the Prize (the first Winner and, where not applicable, the two Substitute Winners), the contest shall be deemed terminated.
7.4. The Organizer shall proceed to deliver the tickets, which may be electronic tickets.
8) Publishing the Winner’s Name and Random Drawing Results
The Organizer may, but is not required to, publish the information and identity of the Winner on the Portal.
9) Liability
9.1. Due solely to taking part in the Promotion, the Participants understand and accept that they shall be liable for and pay the expenses of any interruptions, outages and/or any other defects which may impede their access to and/or browsing on the Internet, including, but in no way limited to, any defects in servers for access to the portal or in sending or receiving e-mail, and losses of information, any interruptions and inoperativity of the network or servers, any failures in the transmissions of telephone lines or technical failures in general which might affect their participation in the Promotion and/or receiving the e-mail messages addressed to the Potential Winner or which communicate acceptance of the Prize.
9.2. If the flight indicated on the tickets which are delivered to the Winner and/or the accompanying person is cancelled, or if other situations of force majeure arise, the Organizer shall make the utmost effort to place them on the following flight or combination of flights which allow them to travel to the destination stated on the ticket. In no case shall the Winner or the accompanying person be required to embark on a flight of another airline.
9.3. In the event that, due to any reason beyond the Organizer’s control, the Winner and the accompanying person are unable to use any or all of the Prize, the Organizer shall not be required to make any modification whatsoever to the Prize or to send tickets for any other dates, or deliver to the Winner or the Winner’s accompanying parties any compensation whatsoever.
10) Authorization
The Organizer reserves the right to publish the Winner’s identity and cite him/her as a prize winner, regardless of whether he or she has received the Prize yet, in any advertising media and/or on the Portal, at any time during the twelve (12) months after the date of the Random Drawing. Likewise, the Organizer may take photographs and/or video images and/or voice recordings of the Winner, free of charge. The mere participation in the Promotion entails the participant’s authorization for these purposes, if he or she becomes the Winner.
11) Personal Information
The Eligible Persons shall be the sole parties responsible for the truth and accuracy of their personal information and all of the remaining information which they provide. That information shall be included in the databases of:
(1) LATAM Airlines Group S.A., with the objective of sending commercial communications for the offering, Promotion, contracting of products and direct marketing actions. Said information may be assigned to the companies in the LATAM Airlines Group with the same objective. Upon completing this Registration Form, the Eligible Person must state his/her consent for the Organizer to store the information and use it for the purposes and assignments described above. And said person may at any time exercise the rights of access, rectification, updating or elimination of the information by sending a written notice to LATAM Airlines Group S.A., Capit!n Haya 1, Piso 7º, 28020, Madrid, Spain.
12) Additional Costs
The expenses not mentioned in these Rules as being the responsibility of the Organizer and/or any additional expense which the Participants incur in order to take part in the Promotion shall be paid by said Participants. To be paid by the Winner are any fees, taxes, patents, seals or contributions which must be paid as a result of the Prize received, as well as any costs for obtaining the documentation which is required of the Winner and/or his/her accompanying persons. Due to the sole fact that they have participated in the Promotion, all participants understand and accept that, if they become the Winner of the Promotion, they shall be responsible for paying any expenses to obtain the documents required to complete the travel which forms part of the Prize.
13) Prohibition Against Using Special Computerized Systems
In order to participate in the Promotion, it is strictly prohibited to make use of any software, special systems and/or other devices which increase a Participant’s number of entries, in violation of the provisions established in these Rules. The violation of this rule by a Participant shall constitute grounds for that Participant’s total, permanent disqualification. In the event that the Organizer determines that the registered Participants have violated any of the provisions established in these Rules, it shall immediately proceed to exclude the Participant in question from the Random Drawing.
14) Availability of Rules
These Rules are available on the Portal throughout the Term of Validity.
15) Acceptance of Rules
Participation in the Promotion entails unconditional acceptance of these Rules.
