Best Carpet Cleaner?

Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is doing well.
Me and my hubby were looking into buying a new carpet cleaner as we have moved into a new house and the carpet is awful!
We are hoping to get one tomorrow from Argos as soon as possible as we are holding a house warming party next week so want everything looking good.
I read some reviews regarding carpet cleaners at Best Carpet Cleaner Hub and the highest rated cleaner was the BISSELL 22K7E Cleanview Lift Off Carpet Cleaner, has anyone have any experience with this cleaner?
Or does anyone have another carpet cleaner they could recommened?
Thank you in advanced!
Sarah

Not tried that one but am on my second Bissell and thoroughly reccomend them, much better than a Vax.M.A.C.A.W member number 39

We have a Bissell which works well on the occasional spillages or pet accident. The most important thing I think is to have a rotating brush which agitates the carpet. Some of them just spray water and suck it up, which doesn't really do much.
If it's for a one-off job in a new house, it might be better to just get the professionals in - the cost will probably be comparable to buying a decent cleaner (especially if the house is empty), and they will likely do a much better job.0 -
I had in mine the Bissell Cleanview Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner or the Bissell 22K7E Lift Off Cleanview Lift off Carpet Cleaner read good reviews for both of them.
The top brands for carpet cleaners looks like Vax and Bissell.0 -
I don't remember which model mine is; it's something like a "power brush".0

Um, I think it's the Bissell Pro heat (ours doesn't have a rotating bar brush at the front), but not sure..we've had it a while so I'd go for a newer model if I was you, they are very reliable and easy to use, very easy to use in fact, good customer service too.
Just to add, we used to move house regularly and were required to have the carpets deep cleaned each time. I always used the Bissell and always passed with flying colours, and that without the brush, so they do work.M.A.C.A.W member number 39

That is true, it will be our first time moving in, (can't wait!) I will speak to the hubby and say we get a deep clean done, and maybe just get a carpet cleaner as well, just to keep away pet odours (we have 2 German shepherds)0 -
Thanks guys I will look into the Bissell Powerbrush and the Bissell Proheat0

Nothing against getting a deep clean, but I'd say if you like to keep on top of your carpets (as I do - pale green carpets!, and I'd guess with pets you do too) it's an investment you won't regret, it will soon pay for itself.M.A.C.A.W member number 39

I guess we should get a deep cleaner that would be a logical idea seeing it is a new house and god knows the amount of spills the old tenants may have left over.
And maybe a decent Bissell carpet cleaner just for monthly cleans, when the mother-in-law comes over to stay0
