Selling on ebay through work

I've recently setup an ebay ID from work, so that the company I work for can sell unwanted items and raise capital from them through ebay. Now I've applied and got the VAT saving thing, so we don't pay VAT on fees, but for the accounting side of things what do I need to do?

If I weren't to use paypal at all it might be easy - get invoice from ebay for fees, put on accounts system, and allocate against direct debit. Sales side, issue VAT invoice for total winning bid (inc.VAT) and bolt on postage as a non-VAT item on invoice, to account for incoming sales "payment".

BUT, due to Paypal %% taken, if we setup a paypal account for work, how is this going to affect (a well audited) accounts system? I have a nightmarish vision of having a "paypal" supplier where all the 3.4%+20ps are put in for EVERY transaction, which would then have to be offset against the sales invoice for that transaction.

Sounds well complicated to me, almost to the point of me using my own account to sell work's gear, and just putting the cash earned in the tin (less fee's of course ;))

Its a diesel. 50mpg - laugh at all the petrols
Its a tuned 260bhp diesel - laugh at them in the rearview mirror as they vanish
