  • This has cropped up before. It is not unknown for a WP to mandate an ESA (WRAG) claimant to partake in voluntary work which is treated as 'work experience - work related activity)

I am aware of one person that had to 'work' in a local charity shop for 35 hours a week!! Unfortunately it only lasted a few months before he had a dramatic relapse of his health condition. Whilst he informed the WP at the start all about his condition, he failed to tell them how he was feeling whilst 'working' and how it was affecting his health for fear of being sanctioned.

Anyone, on ESA, who feels their health is being affected, by what they are doing, needs to get a doctor's letter and take it to the WP providers.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
