Sky Installation

I am having Sky Installed in order to add BT Sport to my Plusnet Broadband Package.
Does Sky need to be plugged into my telephone point as this is 18ft from the TV.
Thank you.

Sorry I don't understand. If I connect as I do my Kindle will I have to
Increase my 10GB BROADBAND Package which I use only for browsing and never exceed?
  • The sky box is subsidised for the first year...thsts why its generally free so yes it will need to be connected to the phone line....dont worry it its 18ft away the sky engineer will run a cable to it.
Connecting to your broadband for on demand is your choice and your under no obligation to do so

So you are not going to use any of the catch up services then.?
FYI The Sky box you get will be wifi enabled.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Does that mean I will have to increase my Broadband Usage?
If it does I will not use Catchup to keep down costs.

I dont get it. You're going to pay for sky but knobble half the features because your broadband package has a punitive limit. This might seem cheap but it's poor value for money.

Capped broadband packages are false economy IMO.

I can record as I have always done and never needed Catchup.
I love watching Sport I have to prioritise my income.
I do not appreciate your comments on how I spend my income which is low (not benefits)as I consider myself lucky I have never needed them.

Exactly - unlimited broadband is becoming common again now many people are using more data. Were you to take that then you'd be able to use all of the features you're paying for on Sky.

Since you're obviously careful with your money I would have thought that would appeal.

All new Sky Boxes are wireless so did not need to connect to phone point!
