Can you transfer between Lloyds cards?

I have a Lloyds BT card which has ended. I want the new Avios cards.

Can I transfer between products and still get the welcome bonus and 0% purchases?

Or is it better to cancel and reapply (how long to wait in between?)

As my income has doubled since I took out the BT, I would like a bigger limit too which may not be possible if transferring cards?

Not normally, most card companies will not let you transfer debt across their range of cards. Some will not even let you transfer from and to cards within the same group of banks (like Lloyds and Halifax for example)

    Hope that helps!
Thanks to advice from people here I am debt free - thank you to you all! Now working on the mortgage!
  • I have transferred from Halifax to Lloyds so you may want to try for one of the Halifax ones.

  • If I understand correctly the question wasn't about a balance transfer. The OP was asking whether they can change card products without having to cancel and reapply.

I asked the other month and was told I'd have to cancel my current card and reapply for the one I was interested in.

Did they say you could reapply straight away or you would have to wait?
