Thanks for replies. Agree strongly, I'm looking to free up miuch more than I have.
I work in IT so kinda know all the basics about Ccleaner and add/remove programs etc I'm always on them.
Recently removed 3 unused itunes account but not much saving which surprised me?
So it's something else that's hogging the Gs, I'll try other suggestions above and report back.
Thanks again.0 -
You could try running Duplicate Cleaner

Perhaps you've got some duplicated files/folders.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

Forget about add/remove programs etc., and (again) download WinDirStat and run it.
This will show you what files you have on the machine, how big they are, where they are.0 -
WinDirStat, thanks Googler and SteveJW.
Discovered a shed load of photographs in my daughter's iphone account. Now safely copied to her laptop, sorted. Thanks all. Great responses.0 -

What is the Service Tag on the thing?
That would be 3DBGD3J0 -
itunes stores 'librarys' in Users>Name>Music>Itunes, but the MEDIA itself is often in Users>Public>Music Or similar, or possibly buried across several accounts. Search an artist name and you should come up with a folder which might point you to where it's stored. My Itunes Music Folder is something like 80Gb.albionrovers wrote: »Recently removed 3 unused itunes account but not much saving which surprised me?
However, if that directory program does it for you though, that's the smart way to find out where the space is being hogged.0 -

OP seems sorted now but just thought I would point out that Ccleaner has a tool for this too. It is under 'Tools-File finder'0
