Hi all, I wondered if anyone has had a dog on Incurin for urinary incontinence due to spaying, and if so, did you notice an improvement quite quickly?
We have been on 1 pill a day for nearly 2 weeks now and so far no difference. Think we might have to go back to the vets....

hi there. our Fizz was on this a few years back, think it did take a while to settle down.
shes on something different (stronger) now but it did really work at the time.
good luck x0 -
oh one more thing....obviously check with the vet but I seem to remember upping her dose for a bit at the start0

Last time I spoke to them, the drug company suggested waiting 3-4 weeks before making a decision as to whether or not it's working. Speak to your vet if you're concerned.0

Hi, my dog is on incurin for the urinary incontinence, i think it took a week or so to start working if i remember rightly, she has been on it for a while now and is doing good on it, she has always been on one a day, but i think there are some other tablets they can try if incurin don't seem to be working or change the doseage etc for your dog, i would prob have expected to see some difference after 2 weeks, so think id be taking her back to the vets.
Also, just be aware that in summer she may 'leak' even whilst taking the tablets, on the extremely hot days when my dog naturally drinks a lot more she tends to leak when she's lying down, i mentioned this to my vet who said its just because she is drinking more than usual and when it cools down she returns to normal with no leaking0 -
With mutt, after playing around with the dosage a bit, incurin on its own didn't work and she had something else (the name escapes me) to go alongside it.
Is/has your dog been on any other meds, as the steroid injections used to make mutt leak like a sieve.
Why not give the vet a ring. - they're best placed to tell you whether to go back or to give it a bit longer. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
