Clippy's clear final debt and pay for holiday diary

morning all,
so looking at the total left to clear, if i hit my £650pm target this month and next then i will only be £50 short of being debt free! therefore i will pay that off from another source if if dont get it through ms eg weekly spends.
this month has gone v badly as i seem to have spent all my budgets and still have 10 days to pay day
have got enough food for the week so reckon i can get away with £5 top up shop on friday to get me through to payday following wed. taking mum out for lunch so will stick on cc (think i have enough to cover in current acc spends but used card a few times so cant get accurate balance). will check and then pay off.
have done 5 ms this weekend which is good
managed to return my two wilko ink cartridges which didnt work (for some reason would only print about 5 pages). only had receipt for one but he refunded both on my card. then spent nearly £10 anyway on new umbrella, plug drainer and cat brush. have been trying to use soda crystals on my bath plug instead of buying expensive mr muscle but not worked. it was so bad that i could not even pour the whole bottle of mr muscle down the plug in one go, had to do it 3 times over an hour!
went to card shop for friends card and as there was a big queue i bought my 3 mothers day cards, nana bday card, nana husband card and mums partner card and two rolls of paper. thats all i need for next few months. not sure if i was over charged though as sure she said it was £8 something but thinking about it now it should not be that much. cant find receipt so will need to wait for it to be on cc statement.
also bought some sweeties
will get back on the diet wagon for good on monday!
ive got half term off work to potter around the house diung deep cleaning a bit of decluttering. got some clothes to sell but not sure whether to wait till april when i should acheive target weight and will also be able to try on summer clothes. thinking if i sell together i can offer postage discounts so might get more for items?
have decided that if i am not close to target weight end of april then i am buying some new clothes anyway as current stuff that i wear on a day to day basis is tatty and looking faded and i have been putting off till loose weight. been looking on ebay and can get some nice fat face dresses for work for cheap

hi all,
so have a week off work now (well 9 days) :j:j
going to spend it pottering about, decluttering, deep cleaning and comping! will also do mystery shopping if any come up
so todays room of focus is the kitchen. have already got ladder out and scrapped paint off the spotlights that has been bugging me for over 3 years since i painted it.
took 10 mins
also worked out how to change the spot lights as a bulb went months ago but i didnt know how to do it!
bit fidly but its all done :T
my cooker hood has not worked since i moved in so every few months the kitchen gets a bit greasy. have today cleared out cupboards in side board to make room for the stuff i currently have on top of the units and fridge freezer as sick of having to keep moving around when i want to clean  so kitchen is now declutted ready for deep de-grease later.
when im debt free think i will order new cooker hood as seen some similar to current one for £60. not sure how much installation will be but john lewis offer it for £85 so assume prob cheaper elsewhere. doesnt look like i can get a stainless steel fridge freezer as they dont come narrow enough so have to make to with silver
means will be about £200 cheaper than i budgeted for though so that can pay for cooker hood
in bad news one of my 6x6ft fence panels has blown down
had a look and can replace for £20
but £25 delivery :eek: need to see of can fit in dads car! luckily i have massive concrete posts so they arent affected and panels just slot in
am having a nice lazy day so far as still in pjs and been doing little bits in kitchen then having a sit down again!
been having chest pains all week and have inflamed cartilage between ribs so cant go to gym
but means i have more time to rest and potter

Poor you

If panel won't fit how much would 2 x 3ft ones be and you could put one on top of the other - then grow plants up it
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

have decided to do as gg suggests and get 2 small panels. looked at the reviews and someone else said they had done that. works out more than 6ft one obv but not if have to pay for delivery. will be easier to fit as well as imagine will provide better stability as will have two central support bars. going to get today if can fit in my car. will also start to paint them as going to replace the one next to the one blown down as well as its on its last legs and will easier to do now access wise as its behind my shed. i can stand in neighbours garden to do it seems as the other one is down at the moment. dad will help me slot in place next weekend. thank god i have concrete posts that panels just slot on from the top so no hassle there

need to get up on my ladder in bathroom to see if i can remove the rust marks from my chrome spot lights with vinegar and scrunched up tin foil. if not will pick up some steel wool and brasso whilst at homebase. also going to have a quick look at outside white gloss as going to paint the windows and door at back of house when (if ever) the weather is better so want to price up.
will go when homebase opens and will feed friends cats on the way as looking after them this week.
then home to hoover downstairs and start to paint panels.
then taking cat to vet for advice on food which will no doubt result in expensive purchase at pah.
chest is still a little bit sore. going to try and wait until pain free for 2 days before going back to gym. need to cut out the snacking though in the meantime!
also going to attempt to enter some comps later

panels wont fit in car
will need to wait and get next weekend when dad comes unless can get from builders merchant to deliver. thought if i was doing that option i would just get 6ft ones but stupid tree next door over hangs the corner so no way could i lift the 6ft panel 6ft in the air to slot in. going to have to saw some branches off as it is to get the 3ft panel in. o well at least it means that my apple tree will get more light in the corner now
means i cant paint panel before it goes up behind shed. best loose a few stone so i can fit in little gap to paint
so have been and fed and played with friends cats then attempted to sort out the spot lights. unfortunately they are too far gone to be saved as even though the vinegar and foil removed the rust the chrome is all scraped and lumpy
going to replace at some point as can get new ones for £20 for 3 designed for bathrooms so didnt bother cleaning the rest. unfortunately i marked the ceiling so i wiped round it. appears bathroom ceiling is dirty as there is now a brilliant white circle around the spot light :wall:
took cat to vets for food, as predicted he is on science plan. was about £25 for 3 bags as buy two get one free. hope he likes it!
decided not to bother hoovering downstairs as going to deep clean both rooms tomorrow.
next task that has been annoying me for over 3 years is to fix the dining room chair that has been broken! just needs seat screwed back in.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
