no problem, Tinyshoes. Your opinion was justified and valid and my comments weren't directed at you.

I just wanted to set the record straight on things that aren't allowed to be discussed on here, and which will be reported to the higher echelons for action when they are seen.

I know people are saying the 1p items are all but finished but I think that they are really a lot more constant than we think.
After all, how often do we go around scanning everything in sight, it could be that things are put down to 1p with regularity but we have only focused on it because someone noticed........even if I'm wrong its good to be an optimist....Goodnight gang xxx

Comparison total (compared products only) £59.67 £68.21

    Multibuys sweetcorn 2 for £3
    toiletries 3 for £3
    batchelors 5 for £3 or 74p each
    kids pasta 5 for £2
    triggers 3 for £2

Again, doesn't tell me much I didn't already know:rotfl:. Except that the Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney is, finally, comparing vs M at 95p each.

I thought so (gone and had a look at msm) - SP Golden Veg Rice should now be vs T at 25p (T also reduced its price to 25p along with A).

Do SP Variety crisps compare very slightly more favourable vs T? Breaded Nuggets should be vs T at 72p (for 10% - or, rather, for 90%.)

Other highlighted items appear to me to be 'good' and are vs M (although the Loose Banana (rather than Bananas:D) - one item per M and T shop:rotfl: - the Mixed Wt Eggs, the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and the Muller 6 pack are also good vs M, although felt to be very trite now for this forum. Still waiting for a glitch (or a glitch to return) on the Muller - I won't compare straight vs £1.94 price, needs to be glitchy vs £1.94, or lower, for me:D.)

Off for an early night, have been hungover most of the day.

Could have done with one of Zippy's hangover smilies when I got up this morning. Can't remember the last time I have felt so bad probably about 15 to 20 years ago. I blame the bubbles. :o

I agree. Also, although we say there are periods where they haven't been glitches (e.g. on the APG), there are actually constant items - such as the S&Gs, that appear to run throughout as well as, until recently, the New Potatoes Herbs:(. And the Bombay Pots back (may have stopped in between, but maybe that was for a very brief, aberrant period?). Technically there's always some glitch or another ongoing at any one point, but it's when the number of glitches get particularly high, or we find 'new' ones, that we put more attention (to the 'out of the ordinary') onto them.

Spoke to A Head Office this morning and explained the above situation. She agreed it was wrong that I didn't get a refund and the excuse given was incorrect. She also stated her daughter uses Lynx products and she couldn't ever remember an offer being gender specific.

She said she would ring the store to sort it out.

Just had a phone call from the store and I just need to take in my receipts and I will receive a refund of the offer overcharge and a £2 gift card. The lady instore couldn't believe I wasn't refunded straight away and she also said that her daughter uses Lynx and this offer is not gender specific.

    :beer::j

Went to A to get my refund this morning. Thought I would be in and out in a couple of minutes, but no I was there for 30 mins.

Explained to the customer service lady that there should be a message in their diary about a refund I am due and gift card. She asked to see my receipts and started to dispute my refund. I said I have spoke to your Head Office and this very customer service desk yesterday and I am due a refund. I asked her to check the diary as the message will be there. She refused and started to try and write on my receipts. I told her not to and she said she has to when refunding, which I said was fine when you have refunded me but you haven't yet.

She then said come and show me the products you bought on the shelves. Which I did and she then said go back to the desk as she needed to get a hand scanner to check products.

She then returned saying I had received the discount on another product in a different offer. I said this was wrong as the product had already kicked in on the other offer and can't then effect a completely different offer. She then eventually refunded me and gave the gift card.

Told the wife when I returned home and she said I should ring Head Office back as that is terrible customer service.

I rang a bit later and Head Office said it was disgusting and would ring the store for the Customer Services Manager to ring me.

She rang me about half an hour later and apologised and couldn't believe the lady who dealt with me refused to look in the hand over diary. She said she would take my concerns into the next managers meeting and try and identify training needs required by staff in store. She said I should have been refunded when I raised it the first time in store and they had wasted my time and also other staff members time. Also a £5 gift card would be left at Customer Services for me to collect.

I must say everyone I have spoke to at A on the phone have been brilliant. But face to face interaction has been appalling.

You need a minimum of 10 characters to post, so when you are short, people type s10ct (means something like short 10 characters or something like that)
