I know exactly what you mean, but I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself I think- this running thing is a huge physical effort for me as well as mental- we've been out in all weathers, got soaked, blown around by the often biting wind and it would be nice if I could see that I was getting something out of it, iykwim
On the run up to turning 40 yrs old, I became a fitness freak.. OH still reminds me of my first run, when I returned I flopped on the floor and could not catch my breath, I kept coughing and was nearly sick... when I regained myself I stood up and asked him if I had lost weight!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Happy birthday neosi - hope you had a fab day
Thanks to the OP who gave the heads up about free chocs/wine from T home delivery - was it fairclaire? Checked some little used accounts and have a code which works across a number of other accounts tooNo idea if already mentioned but if you have one it is a straight £7 off £40 cs - no need to buy chocs or wine. Sorry, workin n lurkin atm and have the best of intentions to catch up, but just not getting there yet
Also, this HUKD code for free delivery works on a couple of accounts (but not all) and gives £6.50 off a £40 spend (sadly the two don't combinebut can be used with in-store pps)

Free C & C in my area from Saturday and free delivery code works even if charge is zero
Loving T right now - massive savings seem to be continuing with another round of stackable cs tillspits again this week
Hope everyone had a good weekend and all are warm and safe xx
I can confirm that CS willing the till spit £7 off £50 plus 10 items for a burger shop worked with £50 of 3v gift cards (plus 150 cc) and it also generated another £7 off £50 .
I am using 3v to buy A gift cards from highstreetvouchers.com as can then use on normal shop .

I did a lot of running when I was in my 20s & 30s. Unfortunately my knees are paying for it now, the shoes were not quite so sophisticated thenThese days I keep reasonably fit by cycling and helping my OH, and I do use my wi fit too but I suspect that is more for getting rid of any repressed anger rather than anything else, I did really well at the boxing the other day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

[/QUOTE]Next time I've got my eye on the Victoria sponge......has anyone tried a scone?
I've heard that the scone is free but you have to pay for the butter & jam! My favourite so far is the carrot cake, but everything I have tried is lovely especially the toffee & treacle muffin.:)0 -
