Good morning everyone.
had a glitchy great day yesterday.
managed to pick up toasters yesterday. It was the cream two slice.
Also went to boots and got the 50p toothpaste coupon and 2 pound off lipstick/mascara coupon.
Apg came though. Returning substitutions made no difference. so put in another order for tomorrow. Scratching my head of how to get a 21 apg past Sada.
thanks to elite for help. this year seems to be a tough one and the glitching will make up for still having no payrise.
Off for round two today. have a 400 point coupon for sainsbob so might buy some blue dragons and some clothing.
Will try to learn to take pictures soon.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

Aren't the lentils a pain though? Do you really have to wash and rinse and soak etc? I really should know this, been cooking for more than 35 years but not one for using things like lentils, but really getting into making soup and lentils are handy for thickening
No. I just follow the recipe to the T and it doesn't say that the lentils have to be pre soaked. My cooking skills are pretty basic.......ignorance is bliss........
Off for a walk in the rainIt's only light and coming straight down which can be quite enjoyable
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

We have webmail and the delete on things like outlook does not delete on the server, I have several years' worth of emails on the server for our webmail but we have only used 2% of our allowance so not too bothered about deleting them!
Yes possibly, this is what my OH was ranting about, that even though I delete messages off outlook a copy is kept on the server so if something happens you get everything back, often in triplicate dating back years. He insists I need to delete twice - as if and how
OH also says I need to archive old emails but I don't see why - 3 month old emails are not old. Also the data they take up is tiny.
So I am trying to make rules but it does nor seem to be working, the Amazon rules only seem to work for individual emails so I've given up trying to make rules and manually moved emails and deleted the others.
I don't even know where deleted emails are going as the numbers in the deleted box is not going up very much
And I can't even ask OH about it as he will go into orbit again
So I've just tried something else which didn't seem to work but in the final 5 seconds it moved hundreds of emails straight into a new folder - result. As I said sometimes you just need the space to figure out things yourself so an hour and a half later I might have cracked the problem“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Thanks, I have bookmarked the recipe:T
Lentils not a pain, no need to wash/rinse/soak. Not like dried beans.
Another good and cheap soup-thickener are noodles. Just get the value ones, any flavour (chuck the flavour sachet, or keep it for another meal), crunch up while in the packet in your hand, and add to soups or stews.
The Blue Dragon ones are perfect, and currently three packets for 10p at Mr T with MOCs.:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
