Thank you - have put the soup on my favourites

Aren't the lentils a pain though? Do you really have to wash and rinse and soak etc? I really should know this, been cooking for more than 35 years but not one for using things like lentils, but really getting into making soup and lentils are handy for thickening

Happy birthday neosi :bdaycake: is that pic the aptly named Water Lane? We saw the stuck car yesterday too. Lower High Street also flooded, and Bushey Mill Lane near the river, and our neighbours garden (next door but one)

I've woken up with the dreaded sore throat and stuffy nose :eek:

New cooker being fitted today but I know there are already going to be problems as there is a post it note under the polythene saying "pan stands required" and the ones off the original cooker don't fit :mad: I'm still having my roast dinner today, even if I have to use camping stoves to boil the veg and potatoes :rotfl:

Well its order and calm here again and I am sorting my emails out, as I suspected message rules are exactly the same as on the old system and I don't need to know about ps files, saving, archiving or any if the other baloney OH was trying to fuddle me with yesterday. What will take time is doing the mass delete as its downloaded last years emails as well - the delete I did after Christmas took 3 hours :eek:

I could do without it this week 2 lunch meetings to go to and both are going to be gruelling and OH has yet another hospital app.

Such fun!
