Just the lady glad you posted this :T.

Can I have the recipe please ?

I got 3 large freebie leeks to use and was wondering what to make :j

What a lovely warming meal Tweets.

I have not caught up, and probably won't get the chance... rl been busy, think I have a case of crash and burn! I have read the last few pages, and my brain just is not functioning on the basic level (the 5 burgers and shower gel has muggled my brain) but I would like to see a photo of Nerfy in the bath with his horrified builder!

Hugs to everyone who needs them (and to those who don't)

I should be back properly soon

Snap Saw this when you posted and it has played on my mind all day. I would like to have my mum on one side and my dad on the other with me in the middle to have a hug and a chat with them both. :A
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

good morning all thanks for all the messages and pms sorry i never got back to anyone yesterday, sadly dd1 never got good news, the baby has several problems including a hole in the heart, only one kidney, a cyst on the brain and a problem with one hand, they have to go back monday for further tests but doctor told them it looks bleak,
they are in bits alls we can do is be there for them but it is so hard, and waiting is worst and going all the way to wrexham,
dd oh is still not telling his family anything about the baby i said he should as they could offer him support but he said they would only say its for the best as they dont think they should have another child, We are a very close family and we include him as part of our family but i think at a time like this he needs his family as well , such a hard situation made worse feel totally helpless,

Hello rhos, just picking up your terrible news. It must be heartbreaking. I know you are close and you will draw on each other's strength to get you through. And get through it you will.
    Love x

Creamed leeks, works lovely with a roast (not an innuendo :rotfl:).

Slice up leeks in 1-2cm chunks, chuck in a frying pan, fry in a bit of butter, crumble in a veggie stock cube and pour some single cream on - tasty as. :D
