As a relative newbie - could someone explain what 'trigger item' means? Ta! :-)

Trigger item is something that is part of an offer ie 3 for £5 which then doesn't show up on the APG. The APG then thinks you have paid full price on the other 2 products and then compares them based on that.

Tiger the tuna in brine compares £4 to £2.50 when bought in T's, good to add with a burger shop. Does anyone know please if the spring water or sunflower oil ones compare T v M? Doh read back to see the oil one works too...yay!

As far as I've read it's not comparing to M's when bought in A's for some reason.

A glitch not to our benefit!

No. They all either had £2.37 or the offer label of 3 for £5.

Just need someone to test the exact 3 you bought instore as I think it should work with the 400ml being the trigger. I can't get to A until after football tonight at 9:00pm.

My little A prob wont have those exact three (don't have time to go to superstore as in work).
i'm reading back on Squigs' results......

its huge, but dont let that put you off

You can get the train to Amsterdam central directly from the airport, and it doesnt take too long either. And its quite cheap to get around generally, but watch those pesky cyclists, they're everywhere and pretty much do have right of way. They even have their own sets of traffic lights at junctions

Yes someone said that about the cyclists, Mr B will be forever dragging me out of the way. I have poor spacial awareness he says :rotfl:

I had checked out the trains so know where I am at there. TY though all the tips are really helpful for me. i didn't buy a guide i just been reading up on line. :)

    Morning All
just trying to catch up, I have missed so much this week. Our little Cornish village has been battered by huge waves and the worst gales I have ever known!! Not too much damage for me, a couple of roof slates, guttering etc. but many not so lucky!!

I just wondered if anyone could fill me in on the champagne boxes?? Its DD 21st this year and also her graduation, so I could really use a box of champagne!! Sorry to ask but we have had so many power cuts over the last few days I fear I will never be able to catch up!!

    Thanks x

Not seen a reply to this but keep an eye out for mystery boxes when they are in stock. HTHs

APG should use the price that it goes into your basket from A.com - as the peace shower is not on MSM it will trigger the others in the offer as shown on squigs' results.

The receipt shows the price in store applicable when your shop was picked, this is what you actually pay.

I'm beginning to think that individual stores have different pricing set against the Lynx.

The strange thing is, that in my online basket, it shows the 3 items as being 3 for £5, but there isn't a 3 for £5 discount on my CC receipt.

Maybe it doesn't show a discount as the 3 items actually add up to £5.
