Hmm, that was interesting, Apollo 400ml not in the 3 for £5 either on sel or through till (£3 each), but Cool Metal 400ml going through till at 75p each. I bought a few as I'm happy to pay this price :D

Will post apg results later (about 5ish, maybe sooner)

    Glitch alert!!

I picked up a cc this morning on which I had some 3 for £5 and 3 for £6 items.

The 3 for £6 worked fine using Lynx dry peace deoderant as the trigger and the Garnier facial wipes for the apg return.:)

The 3 for £5 unfortunately did not work. The trigger which was the Lynx peace refreshing shower gel, as expected, didn't show up on the apg, but I was only charged £1 each for the Lynx shower gels, so the 3 for £5 discount didn't show as a discount on the receipt.. But.......... the Lynx shower gels showed as full price for the apg.

So after all the waffling,:rotfl:my theory is, that if just the Lynx ordinary shower gels are ordered, not the peace one, you will be charged £1 each for them, but £2-37 will be the comparison price on the apg comparing to £1-20 at T.

This works out at being paid 28p for each shower gel.:T

    asda4_zps5521cabc.jpg

This may be happening as both the 250mls and the 400 mls shower gels are in the same offer.
someone needs to test 3 x 250ml shower gels (not using the peace deo as the trigger). Hoping they pay £1 each in store but the apg shows £2.37 for each. It may or may not pick them up.

I can go at 345pm if no-one else has managed by then..

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but is it not 80p per shower gel.

£3 for the Peace 400ml (trigger item for 3 for £5?)
    £1 for the Apollo 250ml
    £1 for the Excite 250ml
    (Did you pay £5?)

    APG on the 2 x 250ml £2.58

    Net total £2.42/3 = 80p

    or have I missed something?

I take it the airport is massive ??

I try not to eat chinese food abroad but thanks for the tip. i certainly could live without that fate !

i will need to shop for stuff for little miss anyway :)

its huge, but dont let that put you off

You can get the train to Amsterdam central directly from the airport, and it doesnt take too long either. And its quite cheap to get around generally, but watch those pesky cyclists, they're everywhere and pretty much do have right of way. They even have their own sets of traffic lights at junctions

you are aau1 in training:D and I think you are right here. Squiggs is positing the theory that 3 ordinarys may be charged at 3 X £1 and then go on to apg at £2.37 each

Yes, you are quite correct regarding my above shop!:)

But my point is, that as the 3 items were not showing on my receipt as 3 for £5, then if I buy just the ordinary shower gels (no need to buy the peace shower gel), I will be charged £1 each, but they will show as £2-37 on the apg.:D

Squigs is saying if you buy 3 s/gels (NOT the deo trigger), the APG may show £2.37 for each item v £1.20 in S. But you are only paying £1 each in store..

    The 250ml s gel's that compare to S are:
    Excite (black)
    Attract (black)
    Apollo (black)
    Dark temptation (black)
    Deep space (white)
Sport blast hair and body (blue)
