    Good morning :)

Yawn! Didn't want to get up this morning. Ive got a new offensive alarm ringtone.....the sort that make you want to lob the phone put of the window when you hear it. Works :D

I've got one of those. Its called a cat that gets freaked out by something outside at 4.45am and comes and jumps on your bladder, howling her head off.

Just one Candy crush and off to bed

There's no such thing as just one candy crush ;):D

    Morning

Another windy rainy day (boo hiss), was hoping to have a womble last night but by the time I'd got to sada it was pouring it down, and hardly any shoppers as well.

Managed to find the carver ham, was wandering the cooked meat section for ages like some loony, but got there in the end, thanks to those who've mentioned it :)

May go out for more s&g later - you probably can't have too many. Would definitely like a healthy eating glitch, esp fresh fish, really fancy making a huge fish pie. Does veg ever glitch?

    Debt-free and Proud!
Morning all. In response to scamps- it's definitely guilt.

I say polish off the enchiladas and wait and see what else gets sent over :)

Eh. Currently mustering up the wherewithal to get up and go to work. At least it's Wednesday. Which is almost Thursday. Which is practically Friday. Company having a party to celebrate first anniversary tomorrow night so Friday should be a write off. C'mon weekend.
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

Morning everyone. Results from test shop.

If we’re not 10% cheaper on your comparable grocery shopping versus Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose we’ll give you the difference.

Due to the ASDA Price Guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £5.70:

15 items (10 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Tesco +£4.61

    1 x Garnier Skin Naturals Clean & Soft Complete Cleans... £3.00 £3.00
    1 x Haribo Maoam Giant Strawberry Stripes £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Haribo Maoam Giant Sour Stripes (15g) £0.10 £0.10
1 x Phileas Fogg Mexican Taco Rolls Sour Cream & Onion... £1.00 £1.99
    1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar £0.10 N/A
    1 x Candyland Flumps Mallow Twists £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Haribo Starmix £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics £0.10 £0.10
    1 x Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh 24hr Hydrating Day Cre... £4.00 £4.00
    3 x Soft & Gentle Sensitive Antiperspirant Deodorant (... £3.00 £0.60
    4 x Soft & Gentle Body Responsive Antiperspirant Deodo... £4.00 £0.80

Comparison total (compared products only) £15.50 £10.89

Lynx Recover is a trigger in the 3 for £6 offer but it has picked up the £2 prices on the Garnier products in Tesco. It also hasn't picked up the £1 price on the Phileas Fogg in tesco either.

Thanks for the shop Sir D and thanks to savvy sal and chris v for the info.

I dont need garnier or lynx but they will be good for a stash for school fetes etc. I really do need some fillers though I will report back asap Taking time back for hours worked over the weekend.:T
  • Good morning all, a bit blustery here but not raining - yet.

Scamps, they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and Valentines day is coming! Just one thing, maybe she is after an excuse to pop round and will have to collect the dish?

I'm off on a 1p hunt today, not holding out much hope but if you don't try you don't get!

I have got a CC this morning with the Lynx and wipes on, so hopefully I will be able to post the results about lunchtime.

    Good morning everyone.

Hope everyone has a very good day today.

    Something to make you smile:

Paddy and Mick were walking along a street in London.Paddy looked in one of the shop windows and saw a sign that caught his eye.

The sign read, "Suits £5.00 each, Shirts £3.00 each, Trousers £4.50 per pair".
Paddy said to his pal, "Mick look at the prices! We could buy a whole lot of those and when we get back to Ireland we could make a fortune. Now when we go in you stay quiet, okay? Let me do all DA talking 'cause if they hear our accents, they might think we're thicko's from Ireland and try to screw us. I'll put on me best English accent."

"Roight y'are Paddy, I'll keep me mout shut, so I will. You do all DA business" said Mick.

They go in and Paddy said in a posh voice, "Hello my good man. I'll take 50 suits at £5.00 each, 100 shirts at £3.00 each, and 50 pairs of trousers at £4.50 each. And oy’ll back up me truck ready to load 'em on, so I will."

The owner of the shop said quietly, "You're from Ireland, aren't you?"

"Well yes," said a surprised Paddy. "What gave it away?"

The owner replied, "This is a dry-cleaners."
