Good morning all.:D
Happy birthday bubbs, have a lovely day.
Just waiting for delivery of my mse mattresses. More comfy beds tonight, DS2 no longer complaining will be good.
Still no 1p items for me. My locals have very on the ball managers:mad: An old schoolfriend who works there told me recently that the manager makes them take all 1p items out the back for the staff to buy, so it is an incentive for them to find the 1p stuff.
Savvy, your lists are growing. Thanks for all your hard work and effort.:T
Hope you are all well. Off to catch up now.

Good morning, welcome to February .. only 10 months until Christmas decorations go back up
Mrs Anon and I both get vouchers through from T cc - will they only work with the cc they were issued to or do they scan against whichever card you give?
Many thanks

Traditionally its Frugal February in this house being the shortest month and no council tax to pay, but I'm pretty frugal week to week now so might not be as much effort as previous years.
Its freezing here today wrap up warm if you are going out folks.
Love to all xxx
Hope you postie has arrived Ours arrives about 2pm
I have not partaken of the M7s gliche although I have the GR and bespoke. I just have no room.
I even got a list from DS as i had £35.00 in various APG' s and no idea what to buy. I normally put money on a prepaid sada card every month and have more than three quarters left and that is all thanks to you all. :A Get a discount through work
DS got lots of free samples of belvita with his delivery last week which he shared:T No MOC's:(0 -
Mr Tinyshoes has just had his fun for the morning, taking the wireless mouse into the kitchen without me knowing and making the cursor do walkies over my screen.
I always fall for it as I don't realise because I always use the laptop pad.0 -

Anyone want my 2c on the PP double accounting? :rotfl:
OK, you asked for it
Here it isfairclaire wrote: »I think we've had the debate before  we all do it in different ways.
Me.....I see my PP as money. So £10 PP = £10 note. I give them my tenner with a £40 shop and they give me it back (new PP). Shop cost £30.......if I repeat that shop, it still costs £30.
:T:T:T:T:T
I agree with FC
And I find the best way to use your £10pp is on an online shop where it is worth £20!!;)
how's that for double double accounting!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Morning everyone,
Rose, I hope you and your mother have a better day today x
Yesterday I did a last dash finishing up my Dr O vouchers and doing a couple of M&S, using up some expiring vouchers etc.
So- what does February have in store for us? I have a few 1p chocs but after hearing about the trouting stories on FB I don't think it is worth looking for more. I have a few (untrouted) ones so best not be greedy and end up being trouted and potentially raising my profile in store. So I'm feeling a bit lost shopping wise. I have nothing to plan and buy for right now. I know that's a good thing money wise but it's very boring!
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -
I geddit. You buy:
Walkers Cheese & Onions Crisps 20x19g
+
Walkers Classic Variety Crisps 20x25g
Pay £5
APG 4.20 v 2.00 (Morries) = £2.40
so £5 - £2.40 = £2.60 for 2x20 packs
I wonder if it works? Shame I don't eat crisps!!!
Morning all. Thanks for this - I love/like Cheese & Onion, so I'll try it!Jelly_Biactol wrote: »good morning glitch monkeys

Okay, so I got it wrong!:p It was after 3am.:D Should be £1.30 each - and, for what's it's worth, may have 21p (5% of £4.20) cashback on msm.Good morning all.

:rotfl::rotfl:Morning Savvy,
Looked on Asda if you type in wheat crunchies you can see they have another deal for five types of crisps on 2 for £5. Looks as though you may be able to combine offers in store.
Yes. That was my idea yesterday. There are two diff. 2 for £5 offers instore - one on Walkers only. If the packs are close together, but you have 2 for £5 running along them all, it may be 'unclear' that the offers are separate. The mbuy does not come off instore. Best seems to be either Walkers Classic or Meaty plus a 15 pack Variety McCoys - 15 McCoy showing £2 M but OOS on msm (but this may compare).
So pay £4.20 + £4.19 (the price on the McCoys). SELs suggest 2 for £5. Put back to 2 for £5 plus £2 GC at CS. Then comp. £4.20 vs £2 and £4.19 vs £2. APG £2.40+£2.39 (£4.99). Total cost minus £2.01, plus 21p cashback (if it's worth it).
Not available N.I. sadly - but £2 GC might be.0 -
