You reminded me of a dog pic from an elite member when you said about little chap

I think you reminded a few other elite members
:rotfl:
Oh, I see now. Well, I understand now, at least:)
Note to self: I am still a relative newbie on the Elite forum. I may not get all the references and in-jokes.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Yes of course you can have the recipe ... on the understanding we get to see some piccies of yours
Just one warning, to you and everyone else (learnt by yours truly from personal experience) - don't show young children how easy it is to make delicious puds, otherwise you will never hear the last of it!
Microwave Gooey Chocolate Pudding
4 tablespoons self-raising flour
4 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons chocolate spread (Nutella or own-brand)
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients in a large mug (a really large mug, like a pint mug rather than a teacup). Whisk well with a fork until smooth. Microwave on high for 1½– 3 minutes. (Time depends on microwave; mine took 2 minutes; try not to overcook it, it's best when it appears slightly undercooked so the bottom bit is still lovely and runny, num-num-num-num:D.)
Lovely with a bit of squirty cream, too.
another Friday favourite at work is...
Microwave Sponge Pudding
(thanks to blackandwhitebunny for this one)
50g margarine
50g sugar
1 egg
75g flour
Beat well together, should be enough mixture to divide into two; then choose one of these to place in the mug first, before putting the mixture on top:
- 1 tsp instant coffee mixed with a little boiling water
- a good tablespoon of pineapple pieces, or any dried fruit
- a spoon of jam, lemon curd, golden syrup, honey
- or cooked apple
They take about 1 and 1/2 minutes on high.
Brill - thank you for doing that. My micro is 800watt what is yours?. I will give these a go sometime next week as hubby will be home then. He loves a syrup pud. Do you keep yours in the mug or can they be turned out (the sponge puddings)?
As for a photo lol; my hubby got me a brick with a camera (according to my son). I like a basic phone, can take a pic but know idea what to do with it. Suppose I should have a read of the little booklet that came with it but cant be a..ed.
Much appreciate the welcome back. x0 -
One final M/S shop tonight, just in time before the store closed. I'd worked it out in advance, so I was just over the £25 threshold - six ready meals and twelve tins of soup for £6.91, or a 73% saving:)

Thanks to everyone for all the advice and tips,:T
to SunshineMummy for finally losing her M/S virginity (got there in the end!),
and super-extra-special thanks to my coupon fairy DesperateScousewife.:A
It's been fun, this M/S voucher lark ... I've really enjoyed it. It's saved me money, but more importantly (IMHO) it's made me feel more a part of the Elite community. And before this turns into a weepy Oscar-type acceptance speech - "Show me the money!"...
I bought £212.46 of food & drink for a grand total of (drumroll)
£45.79'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I don't know wattages and such things.:o I used the works microwave, set it on full power for one minute then tested it - it may look ready on top (seems to cook the top quicker), maybe then try it for another 15 secs or so. As mentioned, it's better slightly a bit undercooked, otherwise the top dries out and you don't get that lovely runny bit underneath (num-num-num-num).TwaNumpties wrote: »Brill - thank you for doing that. I appreciated what you said: "You are never on your own and although we don't know you personally it doesn't stop us thinking about you."'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
