i seem to remember this from a long time ago. I wonder how long it's been working

I remember these too. I think it was around the time of the big A's glitch.

I wonder if they've been working all this time like the s&g.

There were loads of those soap dishes at Tesco when I went the other day but they didn't interest me so I didn't bother scanning them

    Trouted today twice
wish i could say it was over 1p delights in !!!!!! store but no, that is more a badge of honour than my trouting in...........Poundland and 99p store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
99p store-baby event, posters everywhere/sels stating buy 5 items and receive 1 item free
    a. get to till with 5 items expect 1 to be free. NO-you need 6 items and 1 will be free...misleading...but off i went got another baby shampoo
    b. still not working supervisor called...you need to buy toys as well.
The buy 6 get 1 free i could take(that isnt what the posters say but) but this I wasn't. I said no you are wrong..spoken to like I was an idiot so very very very slowly I took them through the wording of THEIR instore adverts. I reminded them my JOB was to enter a store, collect what I wanted to buy and pay for it. It was not my job to guess at the meaning of their adverts.............nowhere does it say buy toys, pics are of shampoo etc no mention that some have to be toys. She huffed and she puffed and grudgingly let it through. email sent to hq re why are you breaking the law having misleading adverts OR if thats not the case why dont your staff know whats going on. Promo running since 20th january.

Poundland- a book, queued and queued and queued as you do. Finally get there, scanned book and then beep beep, Till says no. You'd have thought that I'd come into the store and threatened to kill every first born son or something like a modern day Herod...no you can't have it, we can't sell it, till says we have to contact HQ. I was highly amused by their reaction more than anything-the look of sheer panic... so i wound them up more...so its not a book then, what it is a weapon of mass destruction............not amused, no all very stern faced and rushing to the stands to remove the 30 or so on their. I suspect some kind of copy right issue maybe but not amused to be queing and queuing to be told no you can't buy what we've scanned into the store, put on the shelves and as such entreated you to buy.............another email to Hq
    what a day
also got followed round superdrug by tiny male manager with an overactive walkie talkie. Either I woke up this morning and morphed into Beyonce or everyone is suddenly very jumpy and suspicious of everyone round this neck of the woods

Hi there:). Horrible day:(:(, just not worth going anywhere, probably a struggle if I do but, you know what;), I'll likely try later:rotfl:.

Anyway, they've kept me safely cooped up indoors today:j. The "bad" news out of the way first - I've found about 15 anomalies regarding Mr M on msm, none of them in our favour though.

Now the (potentially) good news. [Strike]Your shopping is 10%...[/Strike] No, I've found what I believe may be a couple of triggers to the fresh fruit and salads 2 for £3 (whether they are any good or not I don't know as remember you lose any APG refund on the triggers themselves - you just get the non-trigger comparing (hopefully comparing) although from full price rather than mbuy pricing.

I've been trying to prepare an Avs S shopping basket, but struggling as "S is a very expensive store". As part of my 'public service', I've got details of lots of Basics items in Sains. that are more expensive than SP, Savers or Eday Value versions. It's not consistently more expensive, on every Basics item, but it is more expensive on many such items - and there have been some significant price increases that put the price quite higher than elsewhere. Pay more for 'Sains. quality', or pay over the odds depending on your view. Live well for less [money in your pocket]. And the usual 'trick' of price increases on items that were on half price last week.

Oh - nearly forgetting:eek: (come on, I never do that:rotfl:) to tell you the name of the (possible!) 'triggers'. May go well with either the Cantaloupe Melon vs T, or the Fresh Tastes Whole Pineapple vs T (or apparently vs S or M) - but as regards the Pineapple, that may risk having a diff. B/C and not appearing at all (remember it changed recently in A and the new B/C one failed to appear) - as I don't need either of the triggers myself, I might try the Melon and the Pineapple - if it gets the mbuy price so what:eek: - as what I need and 10% less than £1 each (hopefully) isn't that bad.

"Triggers" - Either A's Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta Salad 500g or [Edit] [Strike]the A Chicken & Pesto Salad 220g.[/Strike] Might "A Pesto Salad 220g" be the chicken one? So...it's just Tuna & Sweetcorn that I've found. There seems to be another possible though - as two items fewer on msm compared to a.com. I might pick up the task later - I stopped once I found what I thought were the two missing. (Think I have just one now.)

I also found an mbuy missing earlier on the Whitworth Dessicated Coconut, but it's now corrected itself on msm. Might APG be behind? Although - this one doesn't seem to work out good - may as well just go to 10% cheaper on one item and not put the Coconut with it (even assuming that ever worked) as it doesn't help when spending £3.50 instead of £1.98. Whitworths Whole Apricots 200g vs M or Whitworths Figs 175g vs M. Too expensive for me though - own brands undoubtedly cheaper or that 50p dried fruit pack earlier. Not going for 10% off £1.50:eek:.

Not quite. By having it on display you are invited to treat. it means you can make an offer to buy it and then they decide whether to accept or not

A bit like Ts not having to sell 1p items but different given that Ts 1p items are still allowed to be sold according to HO
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
