Oh my goodness....:eek:I'm just watching extreme cheapskates on catchup.....
On this episode the lady....
peels bananas leaving the skin behind...only paying for the actual banana
Scrapes the plates after the kids have finished eating, putting any leftover, uneaten sauce etc back in the bottle:eek:
Asked for beef fat in the supermarket to mix in with mince beef to make it go further to make a lasagne and then cooked it in the dish washer whilst it was washing the dishes:eek:
To save on electric she carries one light build from room to room and turns the tv off when there's an ad break....
Where do they find these people!!!!!0 -

The one time I got loads of aero things and purple ones, I just scanned like my life depended on it :rotfl:
The sa wasn't fussed at all and even complimented me on such fab bargains
Other times, I've been crapping myself with just a couple. I almost crapped myself with the 1p crackers
Scan and fling in the bag. Repeat. Scan and fling. Scan and fling, eventually you'll be practised enough to scan and fling at the same time :rotfl:
The biggest problem is when the items are light, and the scales don't detect them properly!0 -

fairclaire wrote: »Yes they have to be 10 different items. No, they don't have to be comparable....but they do have to be qualifying items. That is grocery items, so no clothes or household stuff etc. and be careful of buying single sweets as some don't compare because they're classed as kiosk items.
If up you're unsure it's best to stick to loose fruit and veg or things you have seen on others' lists that are ok.
This is good advice .... for an apg shop
Question was about a PP shop though.
10 diff items in T can include clothes, whoopsies, kiiosk items, 1p items, anything basically
Just look at the all the burger shops that were done with 9 different xmas decorations :cool:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
