They were confirmed earlier as working today.
I've been buying 5 at a time for £10 pp from £17 spend. HthCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Wow, you are certainly good at finding them.
Were you in Pr888t last night about 7pm.
Saw someone scanning lots of stuff, but wasn't brave enough to ask if you were a friend of Martins ?
Wasn't me.. I was there in the morning. This morning too. Funny how you seem 'to get your eye in' for a bargain!
very addictive too.:rotfl:

:rotfl: she won't believe you unless it was accompanied by a disparaging expletive, the more degrading the better
Also she would need a sex change.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
Could someone please tell me which are the cheap socks? Thank you.Apologies if this has already been posted, but I think I may have stumbled across some new penny items this afternoon in a superstore with no scanners.
The first one is a pack of 6 Tesco gel pens, 3 black, 2 blue and one red in a plastic wallet, bc 6892. Sel said 25p.
The second one is a bit of a mystery. 2 out of the following three lightbulbs scanned at 1p, and they also still triggered the 3 for 2 offer. Sel said 50p/ 3 for 2. I cannot tell which ones it was from the receipt, it just says "Lightbulb" in each case. They are all halogen saver candle bulbs, make is TCP.
18watt = 24w / 210 lumen "fat" bayonet bc 3398
18 watt =24w/ 210 lumen "thin" bayonet bc 3381
28 watt = 37 watt/ 370 lumen "fat" screw in bc 3411
The style of the packaging was like this.
They didn't have any more so I couldn't go back and find out which ones it was.
I also got some men's black socks with Santas on reduced to 20p a pair, which are fine on me ( shoe size 6) for round the house. As Alfie is also a great believer in the joy of socks and is constantly stealing them and hiding them round the garden, they will come in very handy for keeping warm on cold days.
As for the lightbulbs, I can now confirm that bc 3381 and and bc 3398 must have been the ones that were a penny yesterday. I tried a few types of the TCP halogen savers this morning in another store but couldn't find any more.
Alfie waited in the car while I popped into T and when I got back he'd been sick - naturally not on his seat, which was covered with a blanket to keep him warm, but on mine.Thankfully after years of dog ownership I always have plenty of wipes and tissues in the car. By the time we got home, however, he was sufficiently recovered to run upstairs and bark continually at the builder, whom he adores.
Hope is not a strategy.0
