My LO had the scanner in her hands..and scanned some fake eyelashes on a clipstrip, I thought I heard it beep..but walked off..then realized and had to go back to de-scan lol. All I found today were the 1p lightbulbs, which are too big and some wires (not hdmi) which are no good to me. Ah well0

What another veritable smorgasbord:D
Lots of heartache stories too. I wondered why you were sad_dad, sad dad..........I hope you are a happy dad too sometimes:o
Loving all the 1p stories...nothing....absolutely nothing for me.
The most exciting part of my day occurred on a training course when I spotted a big box of PG Tips in the kitchen. I am determined to get Tyger her t towels:D
Twice I went in and tried to memorise the code on the packet and failed. The third time I took my glitching notebook and pencil.i was just writing it down when someone walked in and for some obscure reason I told them I needed the code off the fire extinguisher.
There was just silence.
Hi Truly,
I've always been happy but life has it's ups and downs and unfortunately for me more downs recently.
Tried a different 1p store tonight (an Extra in Oldham), first time I've seen the handheld scanners that everyone talks about.
I looked for headphones as I need a new set but none found. I did manage to get one ES amaretto and lots more Thorntons Toffee. My wife has spotted them in my stash garage and still thinks I've got a problem but I know she likes Thorntons toffee so she should be happy.
Good night all.

Yes thats why I haven't used the hand scanners, saying that I am sure they notice everyone going to and from the wall scanners (well the amount I went:eek::rotfl:)
Look forward to catching up tomorrow
Yes, see you tomorrow, infact I best get some sleep.
Night all, happy hunting tomorrow.0 -
nictrinwyn wrote: »Tiny did you see any minnie mouse books earlier? I was going to look tomorrow for my LO. I wonder how many elite members we could get together to go scanning at once lol, beat the staff at their own game.
Ready set scan..
Me and TH only tried the boxed sets earlier today, no Minnie mouse in those and all still £2.50
I only went for adult books tonight but everything was looking emptier than when me and TH were there earlier today. :eek:0 -

That confirms I wasn't going mad when I saw SA with these last night, but had no idea what was on them.
That's when I got Trouted and Manager said they are sent by Head Office, but aren't allowed to sell items at 1p
But went into my small local today and they kindly had 4 complete boxes of Golden Balls on a trolley by the store room door.
So kindly moved them into my trolley to save them putting them out, or removing them for staff, in 2 lots of 16 :T:rotfl::T
Mum was very pleased with her delivery.0 -

Many thanks to everyone here- quite a successful evening.
8x Disney Candy Canes (these are brill! BBE 2015)
6x golden Lindt caramel balls of wonder
1x Panasonic headphones
1x energiser pocket torch
3x Moshi blind bags
1x birthday candle
2x paper clip and other gubbins packs
Aside from the security guard and manager who decided to treat us like we were doing something illegal at Southbury road (knobs) we had a lovely evening.
My favourite line? 'If items come up at 1p you're supposed to inform a member of staff'
And say what? Excuse me madam these items are too cheap!
Please. You can suck my Lindt balls.
G'night all!
