Long time lurker and reader on this thread. I have finally joined the 1p club. Lots of books in Watford Extra scanning at 1p. Lots of holiday reading for myself and OH, which will not be coming home.

Thanks to reading this thread this morning I managed to find some 1p items a pair of jvc colour pop headphones, gingerbread stars and I also found 'Norfolk a miscellany' book for 1p. Also in store, kit kat chunk normal and mint for 20p.

When I went through Ss earlier the confetti called for assistance , when she came over she noticed they were a penny and called in her headphone to the cs desk and gave them the barcode. She then said that it was ok to buy them but they are having to query any 1p items as there is a lot of 1 p items that shouldn't be.. I did say ooh like what and she said oh just quite a few big things and no one knows what's going on with them..tried digging for more info but none was given although she did let me get my items . I so wish we had hand scanners,would make life so much easier
