Thanks for the new thread squigs :T

I was stuck to the sofa under a sleeping little boy. I can't remember the last time had slept in the afternoon :( he seems so little when he's poorly. All he wants is his mummy near him. :(

Awww stinky, hope he soon gets better xx

I hope you had a drink and a tv remote to hand:o
Nothing worse than being able to see the remote but not able to get it as scared you will wake up the sleeping child if you move:o

    Yes, St.Annes.:)
Can you remember which hotel you stopped at?

Yes, of course! We had our family summer holiday there every year for about fifteen years (I was a tiny baby the first time we went, my sister not even born).
The Dalmeny (owned by the Webbs, still in the family I believe?)
    http://www.dalmenyhotel.co.uk/en/
Room 213, up the stairs (the left-hand one) to first floor, and it was first room on the left; my bed was the one in the far corner as you opened the door. It's changed quite a bit since then; we went back for a family holiday (with sister's grown-up kids) a few years ago.
So many happy memories:):):) - the baby-listening service ('There is a child crying in room XXX', and you could tell which were the parents as they were the ones who had to leave halfway through the meal or disco), met Les Dawson there a few times (think he was a friend of the owners, used to come in the bar for a drink), playing the arcade games on the pier, pitch & putt on the Mini Golf course, walking to Fairhaven Lake, trips to Blackpool to the Pleasure Beach and the Tower (and the genius that was Charlie Cairoli) ... ooh, I could go on and on.
    Thanks for reminding me:D
