PC World - selling items that are 'out of stock'

Anyone else had this nonsense with PC World/Currys?
I bought a refurbished 10 inch Samsung Tab 2 for the bargain price of £135 from the PC World website. They happily took my money but after hearing nothing for ages, I contacted them and they told me that it's 'out of stock' with no likelihood of it coming back into stock. They still haven't given me a satisfactory answer to either of these questions:
- How can it be 'out of stock' if it was 'in stock' when I bought it? Are they selling more stock than they have and holding onto my money in the meantime?
- Why are they continuing to sell exactly the same product on their eBay outlet for £249 if it is 'out of stock'?
The person on the phone had the cheek to tell me to cancel my £135 order and buy the same thing from them for £249 instead!
Outrageous!
Anyone have any advice on what I should do?
