I am declaring on £280.56. I had to draw £32 out of my £2 coin stash to reach my target ( I usually do it at £50) but it is in the bank now so well chuffed.
Well done everyone whether you made your target or not.
See you all on the March thread.

Thanks to £4.36 in eBay sales, I can report a February result of...

    £141.42/£140

I'm pleased with this because I don't always manage to meet my target and when I do there's usually been a birthday or Christmas gift of cash involved somewhere or a small win. It's good to know that this month's result wasn't down to luck but down to me, because it gives me a small amount of confidence in the idea that I can make a little bit of my own luck in future (at least until I run out of stuff to eBay, anyway :) ).

I used to be one of the lurkers who read this thread with fascination every month, feeling heartened to see all the extra money-making being done but certain that it couldn't be done by me. I'm so grateful for the day I decided that even if I could only ever cobble together an extra twenty quid by joining in it was still twenty quid that I could definitely use. If you're a lurker reading this, pitch in and profit :) You only need to start with a small target.

Big thanks to the lovely people on the thread for encouraging and inspiring me on the way to meeting my own target this month. I'd also like to thank my prodoocer, my agent...

Congratulations to everyone for all the pennies made and targets met. See you all on the March thread :)

Brings my Feb total to £83.47 - long way off target, but at least I'm going in the right direction. No longer using my CC.! Yay!

See you all in March thread.

  • I'm declaring at £728.50 / £280 ! :T

So pleased that I have smashed my target of just £10 a day. I know for a fact if I hadn't been updating on here and seeing everyone else adding to totals I would've just given up after a few days!

Not only has it brought in a big chunk of money but it has meant I have started clearing the hoard of stuff we have but don't need! I am a closet hoarder-it's not so much I can't get rid of things but more I can see their value so want to sell them, or donate them or break them down into their component parts and recycle them!

I also haven't counted any vouchers, discounts etc which I am pleased about because I have actually still been saving money with those! Plus we have egg sales that haven't been added to the total on here but have been added to the pot so I actually have more cash stashed away. :j
So onto March-have a few sales in the pipeline so should get off to a good start. The question is-do I set my target higher or go for the same again......

Could someone also point me in the direction of the grocery challenge? And is there also a weight loss challenge? I think by doing things (anonymously) in public I am more likely to succeed!

    Congratulations to everyone!

I managed to do a load of mystery shops today and earned £100. A good day's work for me. I've also been sent 5 orders on Textbroker but will do these tomorrow to get a head start on March.

  • Back again :)

Since announcing my February total earlier, an unexpected eBay BIN sale tonight brought in another £5.64 after fees. If I add it to the March thread rather than this one then my March challenge total won't be the same as my Additional Income line for March in the budgeting software I use (YNAB), and I confuse easily :) Therefore I'm announcing a final, final February challenge total of...
