Think it depends how you organise your challenges. Because I'm also in the Grocery Challenge all my YS, vouchers, tokens etc come of that - I don't feel I can count the same money twice - I WISH
I tried to press the quote button but nothing happened so I copied and pasted your paragraph.
Hi lynne
I wish too! This is the only challenge I have actually signed up to.
I do lurk in other areas but I find just being signed up to this thread has had a positive knock on effect in all money saving areas.
I couldn't make up my mind whether to include things such as yellow sticker items because although they save me money they do not actually increase my income. Ditto packed lunch to work, NSD's. I do also read the Grocery Challenge thread and have tried to start my own challenge but I don't seem to be very good at the moment keeping a record of my grocery spends for a month.
I never listed on ebay before but now I am selling. Although I am not really making a lot of money for the time and effort I am putting in there is the added bonus that I am clearing things out of the house.

Aesop hope you feel better soon.
The chemo is not too bad apart from being a bit tired and loosing my hair but having heard how some people suffer really badly I consider myself to be very lucky.

I think Fairy is busy with her new business. She is on FB quite a lot, very busy doing stuff.
sorry to hear about the hairloss but you sound very positive about the treatment.0 -
I had notification of an Amazon sale this morning, which will net me £5.30 after postage. So I've reached my target for the month, very pleased.
I've still got a few ebay items with bids on, 2 finishing tonight. I've also relisted a few that didn't sell earlier in the month. Thanks for the reminder about the free posting this weekend.
I've emptied one box that was in the attic, some items inherited from my Dad, now all found homes in my house or sold on ebay. If the last vase doesn't sell, then I will give it to my friend who has admired a similar one I have in my lounge.0 -

I'm glad to hear that Fairyclicks is doing OK. I've been wondering about her too. Thanks for the heads up re the free listing, Aesop. I never get e-mails re this, it just shows up in My Ebay and I probably wouldn't have noticed, but having looked, it's there today. I've been doing my usual end-of-month financial post mortem, and all that evidence of 'two steps backwards for every three steps forward' has left me feeling a bit jaded, but the free listing is as good a reason as any for me to grit my teeth and press on
I don't count my Yellow Sticker savings because I'm a bit obsessive about my challenge total and relish even the smallest of reasons to add to it. I can quite easily see myself in a moment of madness, grabbing a Yellow Stickered pork pie that may or may not get eaten just so that I can legitimately add the 20p reduction to my totalThe sorry truth is that before I got wise to my financial mess, I'd buy Yellow Stickered items and tell myself that I was 'saving money' doing it, but plenty of them (chilled items, mostly) were only ever destined for the bin because I hadn't been realistic about whether we could eat them in time. Either that or they'd end up insulating my middle because I'd eat them whether I wanted them or not so that I wouldn't have to feel guilty about throwing them away.
These days I have a YS trolley policy that's adaptable, but is more or less 'If your name's not on the list, then you're not going in'. It's been working well for me and I've still managed to make big YS savings, but I'm well aware of the power of the mighty £10 a day thread to derail it for meDecember 'Make £10 A Day' Challenge - £1.82/£155.000 -

Hiya CTTW. I usually find the little 'double balloons' seem to work better to quote.
I think the general attitude is if it is going into savings or paying off debts then it's okay to add - you could check with Aesop. Re GC have you tried just putting all receipts on a clip in the kitchen and then adding up at end of month if you can't get to add daily on the challenge page ?
Either way I think your total is
MAGNIFICENT - OVER £1100 in a MONTH !!!
BIG congrats to all others already going over target :T
I feel like the tortoise but have added another £5.75 today after plugging away at the surveys.
Hope you all have a good Sunday
