What makes you think I didn't measure? However, abstract conceptualsing is all very well. Sometimes, only when you see an item can you really tell.

Don't tell me what I did or didn't do. I am not going to argue with someone who is clearly not listening.

Flipping it round, why should I pay for something that I would have immediately rejected as unsuitable had I seen it physically?

They undercut rivals through their distance selling model. They need to accept there is a downside.
Your a business you need to understand DSR does not apply to you so it's you who needs to take responsibility for your own mistake, not them.

Because had you seen it physically you would not have become an administrative burden as you wouldn't have purchased it in the first place.

You opted to buy online and save money - this is the price of avoiding brick and mortar stores!!

I can make it much clearer...

    You have a space, let's call it Space A. Space A measures 40 x 40 x 50 cm. You want to buy Printer A. Printer A measures 35 x 45 x 40 cm.

You cannot fit Printer A into the space, so should purchase another model.

How on earth can something fit when measurements are compared with what's published, but not actually fit in the space? Either you don't know how to use a tape measure, or someone's coming in the night and moving your stuff around to make the space smaller. :D

What makes me think you didn't measure is that printers don't flippin' grow in the post!

To be fair though, I've seen some measurements on websites that (even by just looking at them) I knew had to be wrong. However when I have been looking to buy, I called the retailer to enquire what the actual measurements were while pointing out the ones on their website are wrong/contridict each other (on one occasion they gave two different sets of measurements!).

Theres also the possibility that they've only "measured" the main unit and have not included any trays/sticky out bits.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered some AA batteries (packet of 4) from Amazon and I wanted them delivered to an Amazon locker.
When I gave the delivery address, the website informed me that the package was too big for a locker delivery.
    Energizer Lithium Batteries AA 3 + 1 FOC ENGLBS5715
    Product details
    Product Dimensions:115 x 80 x 15 cm ; 41 g

They are some seriously big AA batteries!

No, you chose to purchase off the cheapest, you need to accept there is a downside!
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?

I had an email discussion with a shop on Amazon about a cupboard. They had taken the dimensions from an American website, then put cm after them. The US measurements were in inches. Their sizing was 57cm tall instead of 57 inches. It took a few emails explaining the difference to get them to update their information.
