what will be the effect on credit report

Hi, i am wondering how my credit report will be effected by having the same name and date of birth as someone else in the UK? So i have a very common name, surname being smith and i know of two people that have same name and date of birth. How will this effect the way credit profiles work?

It'll have no effect only potential issue is debt companies may incorrectly link you at some point, happened to my dad, same name and DOB in a similar area, just check you files every so often which you should do anyway, I recommend a couple of month prior to getting credit especially for a mortgage.
