A good site to check menus, reviews and deals in Glasgow is:
http://http://www.5pm.co.uk
I use it regularly and have found some great restaurants e.g grill room at 29, 2 fat ladies, viva Italian, Masala twist0 -
Just noticed that this thread was still going. In the end I went to:
China Blue: 96 Renfield Street Pre-Theatre Menu 6pm-8pm two courses plus a hot drink for £8.95 - great food, decent portions, quick service and free prawn crackers whilst I was waiting for my starter.
ASK Italian: 3 Port Dundas Place £7.00 for takeaway pasta.
Tony Macaroni: 133 West George Street Presto Menu Mon-Fri 12 noon- 6:30pm Main courses £4.95. Great quality and decent size portions.
Wetherspoons Society Room: 151 West George Street - Steak Night Tuesday. Steak, veg, chips plus a side order of onion rings and a drink for under £8.00.0 -

I know this is an old thread, but............
But Yes, BMB is AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGG. Love, love, love the chilli cheese fries!
It's not particularly cheap though. £8 for a burger + £3-4 for chips.
Worth it tho. Definitely.0
