Glasgow restaurant - cheap but decent - any recommendations?
Options
Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap but decent restaurants/takeaways within walking distance of Buchanan Galleries? I'm going to be in Glasgow staying at a hotel for four nights at the end of Feb so need to find decent places to eat that won't break my expenses allowance of £10.
Thanks in advance

there's a really nice place on Sauchiehall street called Anti-Pasti. They have a lunchtime special where you can get 2 courses for around £8, I'd recommend the mussels for a starter.....top drawer. We’ve had to remove your signature. There is a new Cook & Indi's World Buffet at the corner of Renfield St and Bath St, just a couple of minutes walk from the Buchanan Galleries. Eat as much as you want from £5.99 at lunchtime up to a maximum of £10.99 (I think) at night. They serve Indian, Chinese, Italian, etc dishes. You will find the restaurant chain website via Google, which shows a selection of the menus. But this new addition to the chain is not yet listed on the site.0

Theres a Tony Macaroni within walking distance of Buchanan Galleries. I go to the one nearest my home town now and then, they do a Presto menu between noon and half 6 and its 4.95 for any main course from the menu, you could get pasta, pizza, risotto, they also do salmon, theres a £1 supplement for certain dishes if you want potatoes or chips instead of rice, but its excellent value. Ive never had a bad meal in Tony Macaroni yet.

There's a little cafe called Breakfast at Tiffany's just off Arglye street, down the side if Marks and Spencer where the buses pick up / drop off. Think the road is called Glassford Street.
Good for a bacon roll and a cuppa as well as things like macaroni on the menu.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

This is just behind St Enoch Centre in Howard Street. Well worth a visit, particularly good value at lunchtime.0 -

Chop Sticks do sit in or takeaway chinese for £4/5 depending on the size of the box. Its casual but good filling and cheap. Its across from mac donalds next to the train station.
Pintos does nice mexican wraps, just off george square. Similar style & price.0
