Water damage around windows

Hi. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem - perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
Recently we've noticed water damage on the walls around most of the windows on the back of our house. Looking more closely, the internal window frame seems to have lifted away from the wall slightly - sort of like a crack - and this seems the most logical cause of this damage.
Who do I speak to? Window repair company? The company that fitted the windows (maybe) 10 years ago? A general handyman?
Thanks in advance!
