Uses for empty reed diffuser jars?

Options
I bought quite a few from The White Company this year. Seems a shame to ditch them now they are empty. Any ideas of what they could be used for?

You can buy refills and reuse them.

Just what is a reed diffuser jar when it is at home.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Definitely try to make your own using a scented oil in a cheaper carrier and some water. You can buy a big bunch of bamboo skewers for £1, they'll do the job.

Else plant single seeds in them and grow cobs from scratch ready for baskets in the spring.

The cheap ones smell really overpoweringly artificial in my experience. This is one item where buying a premium product pays dividends.

£40 on a reed diffuser? Really?

    DIY. :money:

Well, maybe I wouldn't spend that on myself but family and friends obviously think I am worth at least some of that!

Still got the dregs of The White Company "Winter" fragrance, making Christmas last that little bit longer.

I now have another 3 to use up as part of a gift of 4 diffusers.

I also received a cheaper one, to my horror, and have put it in the cupboard under the stairs to get rid of it, lol.

Horses for courses, really, like so many things. If you like that sort of thing, then why not?

Lucky you! The cheaper one I was given smelt of precisely nothing until I got up close to it. I put it by a radiator to encourage it without success :o

This one, from a leading High Street bargain store, did smell quite nice at first but soon made me feel ill, to be honest.

Still going strong though, in the loo under the stairs. I liked the container but the oil or whatever it was, seemed really horrible after a short while.

It's the thought that counts though, lol.
