Freeview and DVD playing in black n white

Hi - my grandmother's freeview box and separate DVD player have started playing programmes in black and white only. When watching normal tv the picture is fine but then when she moves onto watch anything through the freeview box or DVD player it only plays in black and white. No changes to her cabling have been made. She has her external aerial coming straight into the freeview box, a scart lead from freeview to tv, another scart from DVD player to tv and then an av cable from tv to freeview. All worked perfectly until last week. We have replaced both scart but no joy, still same problem.

Any advice appreciated :-)

By the sounds of it you have selected "S video" on the TV, change it back to standard on the TV (remote) and all should be OK again .
