18 mths 0% credit card for one off purchase

Hi there, I want to make a one off purchase of £2000 which I can pay back in a couple of months. To do this I want to get a 18 or 15 mth 0% interest credit card (instead of being tied into a loan). My question is: will a card company (who I've probably never dealt with) let me max out a card on a one-off purchase? Also would there be a catch stating I'd lose the 0% interest deal if it was for just one transaction? Thanks

P.S. If you can pay it back in a couple of months it would be better to just make the minimum payment each month and put the rest in a savings account until just before the 15/18 months is up.Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??
