Parking Charge Notice (Scotland) - Euro Car Parks

Hi there,
First time using this board.
I got a Parking Charge Notice (in Scotland) from Euro Car Parks.
A camera caught my number plate going in and out of the car park - I stayed for 17 minutes more than I was meant to.
I have 28 days to pay my fine. If it has not been paid in full I will incur additional charges and my details will be forwarded to a debt collection agency.
Just wondering if the advice of just to ignore it is still up to date?
First parking charge I have ever had. So a bit worried about it. But I was sure I saw something a year ago saying just to ignore these and subsequent letters? ... (And read a few threads on here today about it)
Thanks in advance for your help and best wishes,
Ross

If you read the current FAQs advice in the 'NEWBIES read this first' sticky thread, Scotland is covered specifically - and the Watchdog clip still applies in your neck of the woods.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hey, thanks for the swift reply.
Yes I had saw this was just making sure it is still relevant and still in date?
So I should just ignore this one and all subsequent letters?
Best wishes,

Yep, you lucky devil , just ignore it. The onus is on them to find the driver. And there's no chance of that unless you help them0
