Which to buy ?

My daughter wants a touch screen laptop for her birthday. Looking in PCworld she has narrowed it down to the Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14 Intel i3-4005U with 4gb ram £399 or the HP 15-n090sa AMD A8-4555M with 8GB ram at £449. Its for basic internet use and some gaming but not high end stuff. Also homeworks ! I think they are both powerful enough to do what she requires and I like the up to 9 hours battery life of the lonovo plus bluetooth. Any thoughts on the above 2 laptops and which I should go for or should I be looking at another touch screen laptop. Being in Northern Ireland places are very limited with regards of actually looking / touching a laptop before buying and a lot of companies on the mainland won't post (or charge too much) to NI, hence PCWorld ! Any advice welcome.
