ESA ending advice personal independence payment ?

Hi everyone ,I recently did a thread as I have been off work for 18 months and my ESA is coming up to a year . My partner lost their job before Christmas but has got a new job already which is fab and yes it's around £18,000 but with costs he has commuting and bills and stuff it little money .Now please no one have a pop at well you have 1 income live on that as all I want is advice and not opinions and really not in the right mind-set to cope with that. Anyway I passed assessment to ESA but due to income related and partner working I have been told I get zero as of next month and basically told to come back when I have finished my recovery from my brain injury which the traumatic brain team said could take months to even years . I am tech employed but get no wage and could be told that I can't go back to the job I was in .The job centre person said I should apply for Personal independence payment but was warned that there is a backlog so could take weeks to go through and may not even get it . Has anyone gone through this process after ESA ? or Have personal payment ?

PIP is not an alternative to ESA. You can qualify for ESA and not PIP, and vice versa. You can also get PIP and ESA together.

What care and mobility needs do you have?

Mobility wise I am pretty ok but faint quite a bit and have balance issues .
Care wise I need to be supervised doing things like cooking (there have been dangers) I have issues with memory and concentration and routine is a must at the mo as any change can basically feel like my world is upside down :( That's just some of the issues I have .

It's worth applying for, but reading the thread on here, about PIP, it takes a very long time to get any sort of decision.

Yet another reform sliding into chaos because the firm contracted are having to be audited.
