  • I've received a date in March from the Family Courts.
He's going to be stunned to get this.

Ok, so what about a family house that is 'sold' i.e. under offer, but the chain is not complete and shows no sign of completion in the near future? Is there any way of forcing the ex to complete and go into rented? Ex isnt bothered about pushing things (it's his vendors who are the problem). I need my half of the money to buy and in the fevered atmosphere of the London market, being under offer rather than chain free, seriously and adversely affects my chances of getting an offer accepted. I've seen and lost several houses I would have bought if someoe else hadn't come along as a ftb or cash buyer.

    With whom?

The buyer isn't in a position to complete until their sale can complete - and so on, up the chain.
