UKPC parking charge HELP PLEASE?

I have spent 3 hours reading loads of different threads and am thoroughly confused as to what to do:

Company car - so need to appeal quickly - what do I state?

Ticket on windscreen 18/1/14 (£90 or £50 id paid in14 days)

We parked on a roadway outside bar/flats in Leeds (Toast Bar) that was surrounded by hoardings - no sign when turning into road but we found one high up and dark when looked later outside Toast.

Many other cars parked there for many hours before we left our car for a brief period (I have photos of 3 others cars not ticketed).

Can I have some clear and simple guidance as to what to put in appeal letter as I cannot leave it as my Compnay will pay the charge nd deduct it from my salary......

HELP PLEASE

Sounds like OP already has a ticket, and this was a NtD. (She mentions photographing other cars WITHOUT tickets).

    OP:
    1. Advise your fleet manager and/or lease company about the ticket, and that you are handling it. If the PPC should try and be sneaky (and send a notice to keeper to the lease company), tell them to reply naming you as the usual keeper of the vehicle. (This discharges any obligations they have under POFA)

    2. Some may argue you wait until the lease company do this. Personally I would appeal to the PPC (perhaps saying "The Driver passed to me, The Usual Keeper, this PCN") to gain a POPLA code*, then go the POPLA route. Doing this gives evidence that the PPC already have the correct person, and pursuing the lease company would be border-line fraudulent.

    * Assuming this is England or Wales.

Seconded, do as bod1467advises. Appeal now as per the first appeal examples in the 'NEWBIES' linked sticky thread - but starting by saying 'I am the driver' rather than 'I am the keeper'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
