airline promotional discounts

Hi all,
My son is coming over from Canada for holidays with 3 of his friends. They want to squeeze as much as they possibly can into their trip. He want me to look at flights from Glasgow to possibly Liverpool, Dublin, Cardiff, London and now he mentions Amsterdam. I found 10 quid deals with Ryanair to Dublin and from Dublin to London. I need to get him to Liverpool somehow and with which airline and also to Amsterdam. Don't think he can fit it all in but I will give it a shot. Does anyone know of any promos, discount codes with Easyjet or BMI baby? Or does anyone know of any other airlines i should look at? Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Taffy

    Hi,

Does he have to fly via Glasgow to each destination separately? He could fly from Glasgow to Dublin, then Dublin to Liverpool with Ryanair.

From Liverpool to Amsterdam with Easyjet - you need to check the prices for the relevant dates as the prices vary massively depending when you want to fly.

From Amsterdam to London with Easyjet - you need to check the prices for the relevant dates as the prices vary massively depending when you want to fly.

Then get the coach to Cardiff with National Express - singles from £3 - it takes 3hrs 10min so no difference to flying if you factor in the time spent hanging around the airport after checking in.

From Cardiff he could fly to Glasgow with BMIbaby - they have flights for £25 for the end of July, including taxes.

I don't have any codes, but all the airlines have promotions on at the moment so just check the relevant dates.

Hope that helps and that he manages to fit it all in!

    Thanks Samh,
When I was looking on the net I was looking at singles from say Glasgow to Dublin, Dublin to Stanstead with Ryanair. Then Stanstead to Liverpool BMI baby and Liverpool Amsterdam Easyjet. Cardiff seems like a problem not many flights from there and as he has a lot of relatives in Wales wanted to fit this one in. Thought they could take the car to Wales and bum around there for a while at least will have places to stay, Thanks Samh for your input. Don't you just hate it when they say if you have a promotional code put it in now lol? Taffy

If you're going to book a lot of Ryanair flights I would seriously look into applying for the pre-paid mastercard, otherwise you get charged £5 for each flight you book for using a card!

My bf is a ryanair pilot and he has just ordered one of these cards to avoid the costs when we book flights for me (he obv travels free) as sometimes the flight might only be £10 but is an extra £5 each way just in CC fees. It soon adds up when you use them alot or plan to book lots of flights.

    HTH!! :)
