    Morning all,

    wet and grey here.

DH dropped me in town on his way to work, but I didn't stay long!

Off to my conference/training session this afternoon and overnight in the hotel. It's a bit awkward as I only had about 90 papers delivered yesterday via the regular postman, somewhere there are another 600-odd. As the exam was on Tuesday and they should have been sent out that day it is getting a bit tense. Hope they turn up soon!

NPM - thinking of you x

Glad your test results were good hilstep!
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Chilly here today but at least it is dry, I have just been out and pored some disinfectant and boiling water in the wheelie bin, DS can empty it when he gets home from college.

Got a great bargain in Aldi :D all of their large panettone have been reduced to 49p each, they were £6.49 at Christmas  so we bought three and I have cut all of them into slices and they are in the freezer so that is cake sorted for a month :j DS is very happy :rotfl::rotfl:

NPM thinking of you x x

snoozer where was the sleet and hail ?

Waiting for a phone call from the doctor, I am supposed to be testing six times a day but they haven't given me enough testing strips, 50 only last for 8 days and that is all they have got on my repeat prescription for a months supply

DD had a trial day working in a chemist yesterday and even though she enjoyed it, she is put off by the shift ending at midnight, and I don't blame her because it is in a rough area :( She will take it reluctantly if she doesn't get any joy from the other interviews, she has one today and one next week.

Dinner tonight is chicken stew with dumplings for the boys but not for me, I will have the stew though with lots of kale and new potatoes :D I just had a lovely mushroom omelette for lunch nomnom :D

    Hello everyone :)

Been busy with washing, ironing and cleaning of bathroom/downstairs loo. I've been to Dobbies to get the bulk of the meat for the next few weeks. They had a lot of offers which is good as it saved a few more pennies.

Off to see my DD this evening as DH and DS2 are going to watch an away football match and they are dropping me off en route. Looking forward to seeing her and her fiancee and talking about Weddings!

    Have a good evening :)
  • Afternoon:D
Late one from me today. Have chilled today and had lunch with a lovely friend of mine.
Printed tons of legal stuff yesterday which I have to now use to pull his statement apart next week. This type of thing is my reading matter of choice at the moment. http://www.sossen.org.uk/reports/Challenging_tribunal_decision.pdf

When I got back from lunch Asher had fallen asleep in her pram.... I thought about tidying up but decided to take advantage and made a brew, grabbed a choc bar and watched Greys Anatomy:-);) was fab:T

I've got pizza dough proving for tonight's tea. May try to have a film night snuggling with DH if the kids play ball and go to sleep:cool:

Hillstep.....glad the results were good news:T
JG ....hope DH gets away tomorrow ok and you cope without him:o

    Evening all
Finished work, collected DGD, took her to gym club, brought her home, had tea, watched Peppa Pig & now she's in bed and asleep.
We're taking her home tomorrow & then going to collect DGD from the other DD & taking her with us to buy some water for the fish tank, she likes to see the fish.
I shall be going to bed asap.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.
