Hi Thanks for this post I have found it really useful- I received a ticket today at the same college car park- the barrier was up I didn't realise you couldn't park there after 4pm as I didn't drive past the sign stating the hours as that is pointing only towards pizza hut and I drove straight in. My ticket was issued at 3.44pm and I was back at the car at 3.52pm. I had briefly nipped to the running horse and had previously parked there to use cinema, pizza hut, running horses and nandos and never had problems before. I pulled the parking attendant who wouldn't admit to placing the ticket when I asked who had placed it on my car- informed me that there was a parameter in which you could park I explained that it was full the area in which he suggested and I hadn't been long and had been to the running horses a location you can go to when parking there. I asked the guy the time and his name which I wrote on the ticket- I asked him to sign it to say he had been speaking to him and explained where I was and that I hadn't been there long etc he refused. I note on my ticket that the observation from and to isn't completed and the fine is £100 which according to money supermarket is above what can be charged.
I will be writing and emailing my appeal tonight but would be interested to see how you get on as I am sure I will end up going down the same route!
Thanks

Date of Parking event - was there a windscreen ticket?
Date of Notice to Keeper.
Assuming this was in England or Wales only.
As you've hijacked this thread are we to assume this was the same place?
We normally ask you read the NEWBIE thread so please read but PCN(NW)LTD are not part of the BPA anymore but have joined the IPC and you will need special help to appeal.
