Shopping centre-parking eye

Hello MSE,
Thank you for support in Appealing unreasonable parking charges.
I returned home after Christmas to a Parking Charge Notice and Parking Charge Notice Reminder from Parking Eye for having overstayed my welcome by 18 minutes at a shopping centre car park on 14th December. I was disgusted at the Charge - £100 - and appealed using your letter. I used Mitigating Circumstances; "The penalty exceeded the amount applicable in the circumstances of the case."
I specified that I would not engage in correspondence til that point was resolved.
They have written back asking for evidence that I was shopping locally that day ie receipts/bank statements.
As they have not responded to my complaint, what should I now do?
Thank you!

First off, try reading the post directly above your one. :wall:0

I think this one has been split off when the OP posted in the wrong thread.
To the OP, was this in England & Wales? If so I assume Parking Eye have not provided a POPLA code at this stage?
To be honest with you if you do have receipts etc from your shopping visit, your quickest and easiest way of getting this cancelled is to send them to Parking Eye. They have form for cancelling charges for genuine customers (as long as the purchases are over a magic unknown amount, usually £30 but sometimes more).
Have you complained to the mangers of the shops where you shopped or complained to the managers of the shopping centre?
