County Court Letter - Success!

Okay, so I messed up and ignored the LBA and now I've just received a county court claim form from ParkingEye.
I've read all the sticky's and other bits but I won't lie, there's a lot of information (and acronyms) which went straight over my head.
I know we shouldn't put too much information online just in case, so I'll give the basics.
I was DJing at a nightclub and parked in a hotel car park nearby between the hours of 11pm and 4am, I failed to realise that you had to pay at that time of the night/day.
They are now asking for £165, including solicitors and court fees.
From what I've read, my first port of call is to reply with the defence and counterclaim form disputing the full amount, but do I need to fill in the defence section? If so, what do I put?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

We feel for his mincely sum it is the best advice you can buy, costs same as a pint and it has beaten them many times.

Start reading and then start preparing your defence.
Depending where you are someone may accompany you to help.
Like all county courts it is a bit of a gamble, but with a correct defence they usually lose as they are getting right up the judges noses at the moment.
The fact you have told them nothing so far will help as well.Be happy...;)0 -

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

I received a reprimand from a moderator on the other forum for promoting the Prankster's guide to fighting Parking Eye Court cases

I'm just entering my defence online, do you have to bullet point or can I go into full flow now?0
