Brought a apple iphone 4S yesterday from cash generator and today the phone will not work it just shows a blank screen and was working untill i last used it to about 12pm. its been on the side and my pocket the whole time. when i was about it to use i took it out of my pocket and it would not work tried resetting the phone and still not working

    If it is inherently faulty (i.e. the fault was not caused by accident or misuse etc) then you are entitled to reject the phone under the Sale of Goods Act for a full refund.

    What exactly is or isn't it doing?

    You say blank screen, does it bleep when you plug it in? Does it respond to any button presses?

    Asking politely for a refund is the obvious thing to do. They'll then have a look at it and, if it's like you say, should give the refund. I once tried this there on the last day of the guarantee period for a faulty digibox. They refused the refund and ended up paying me double for the stress, inconvenience and admin costs. Gotta be tough with these people when they don't play ball.

    has been on charge and its totally dead no sign of life at all has not been working since 12pm today not been dropped or anything

    Is it being charged using an Apple cable or a third party one?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
