HI All
Need some HP cartridges and just wondered if anyone knew where to start, there seems to me so many variations out there!
Have Officejet 4620 so HP364 and would prefer XL. Wanted to try and buy number of cartridges, say 3 of each, if can get a decent deal!
Any help greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance.

From this website you choose the model of your printer and it will show you the cartridges (original and remanufactured) that are compatible with your printer http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk0

Look up continuous ink systems....CIS.
Expensive to start, around £50 all in, but that's equivalent to around 12 sets of cartridges. Just bought 1 a month ago, and very happy with it!O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.

Thanks for this.
Can I ask how the quality of print compares to the HP cartridges please?
Also in the link above there are two types, the fotoexpress for £50 which is dye ink and the Lyson which is for dye and pigment ink, can anyone assist with the difference between the two please?0 -
TBH, I wasn't sure, so I went for the cheaper option. The prints look really good, documents come out great, photos seem very good as well? Maybe long term there could be a difference?
As I may have said before, it is a bit fiddly setting up the system, and you have to clean the heads a few ctimes before the ink flows properly. When set up though, performing well.O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.

Thanks portchieboy.
Can anyone assist with the difference or quality of the Lyson, as given how long they'll last if they are of alot better quailty might well be worth the investment!0 -
Lyson ink is a "better" ink - but how much better ????
I use the dye ink and have compared it with Canon OEM ink and can see no difference between them. The big test is longevity - to test that you have to wait - and wait - and wait.
ALL photos, produced by whatever process, will fade over time; especially if left in bright light. In an album there should be little fading.
Having said that, you can, of course, do a new print every few months

Think I'm going to try the CISS route but thanks for this as this exactly the sought of site I was after and will recommend as they clearly list and state relevant information, ie: page yield and ink content in ml.0
