AM parking services ltd Ticket

Hi Guys i was waiting for a parking spot so i decided to pull over to one side so im not in the way. Next thing i no like a ninja he came out of no where slapped a ticket on my window and took a pic of the car. I had not noticed i had stoped in a residents parking spot.

So at this time i tried to explain to the guy and he wouldnt have none of it so i said  him and went to the vets and left the car there.

So know i am face with the £60 fine or £100 if i dont pay it in 14 days but heres the thing i was only picking up my animal stuff as she had passed away that hour :( so i was in there for about 5minites.

So my question is do i write to them telling them i will pay no more then £5 or do i just ignore the letters and hope they arnt stupid enough to take this to court.

I am in the South east of the england,

I have checked out the newbie section but i cant find out anyone who has had a dealing with this company.
  • Done a check and AM Parking Services one of the BPA's lot. So if in England/Wales then wait for your NtK.

In the meantime have a read of the stickies at the top of the Forum page.

You'll get plenty of help to fight this one off for good. And you'll be paying them nothing - in fact it will cost them if they let it go to POPLA (£27)... and if you box clever and follow the soft appeal templates then you can bill them for your time in putting your POPLA appeal together.

Welcome to the site where the tables are turned on these parasites

  • Ok guys so ive now read the newbie guide and let me say what i have gained from this.

Basically wait until the first letter comes through then appeal to POPLA.

Also the guide gives me this guy

    David Dunford

what am i ament to send to him.

My next question is i went back to the car park in question and i couldn't see any signs that say anything about not parking in these spaces untill i got out the car and there is this tiny sign with writing i had to be up close to tell me they are residentual spaces.

I dont see anything in your thread relating to contacting the dvla (or the bpa for that matter) , so cannot see any relevance in your question

as for the time line, you dont seem to understand it despite their being a walk through for newbies by umkomaas in that NEWBIES thread

you wait for ntk, appeal to the PPC, if turned down you appeal to popla

you should be taking pics of the signage and using it as possible proof of it being not up to the BPA CoP
